Description

The Illinois Central was another railroad that had many different style baggage cars.

NEW ROAD NUMBER:Baggage 1803 was built by Illinois Central in 1948. Cars 1802 & 1803 were the only 2 cars in this series.

The cars were 76 feet long (ours is 72 feet) making our model a ‘Classic’ version. And while the I.C. certainly had more heavyweight head end cars then lightweight streamline style, cars like this 1803 will play an important role for any Illinois Central modeler.

This is a limited production.
