Description

TrainSetBox NP’s 1947 North Coast Limited

We are excited to be producing a printed box for our RailSmith N Scale Passenger Trains.  All RailSmith SetBoxes will be the same dimension for nice clean stacking continuity. 11 x 17 x 3 inches.

Each box can hold top to 16 cars plus three engines in their jewel boxes. (or 15 cars and 4 engine boxes, etc)  The engine boxes are sized large like the Broadway Limited size so Kato or Atlas will also fit.

Each box has a separating board with the train consist diagram. The separating board will allow two levels of storage. This is a storage box and not a shipping box, as such it will have room to allow easy access to your passenger train set.

We will be building only enough boxes for the preorders received. We intend to make a  TrainSetBox for every RailSmith Train in our ‘build-a-Train’ series, and the prices are based on forecasted quantity and interest. Thus the cost may be more for a train with a smaller following.  We will not know when, if ever,  a rerun of the same box may be produced, nor the cost of a smaller run because you missed the first run. Hope that makes sense.

These are the boxes we showed and we well accepted at the National N Scale Convention in Reno and the National Train Show in Ft Worth this summer. Photos shown of the prototype. Actual box graphics will be even better!

It would be best for you to order this box alone and not with other items, other than other SetBoxes which are easier to process together. Remember the cost at this time is included in the very reasonable price.

Thank you!

What a trip! We had a great time- exceeded our expectations by a mile. The Silver Lariat was simply stunning. A gem on the rails. The scenery and weather were perfect. The delays were not an issue for us at all. All just a good days work on the railroad! Thank you for all the…

“You have no idea how excited I am about these cars . . .”

And as for your goal of 5 releases a year, I admire your ambition, but I won’t hold it against you if you fall short on that accomplishment.  I’m just thrilled you’re doing such an AWESOME job of releasing this amazing train, and hope you don’t stop until it’s all done!

Ferdinand Magellan is great! This really fits your mission of offering significant cars that otherwise wouldn’t be produced.

These are indeed miniature masterpieces.

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.
