Description

NEW ROAD NUMBER: Baggage 9121 was one of 100 cars in this series built by American Car & Foundry in 1946-47 for the NYC.  These cars were used for Mail Storage and Baggage as they were designated for ‘general service’. They were used all across the New York Central system.

David Randall’s book is great documentation of these cars, yet states that ‘it is unknown if all 100 cars in this series had end doors’.  We are producing this car since his documented authority sheds this doubt.

The Two-Tone-Gray NYC paint will match Kato’s recent release of the 20th Century Limited.

Built buy ACF, this is a classic version of this car.

Lowell, thanks to you and your company SP&S modelers (myself included) are having a much easier time modeling the North Bank Road. Thank you for your hard work!

Thank you for all that you do for the N Scale community. Your products by far, in my opinion, are the top of the line when it comes to N Scale Trains and I am always on the lookout for them when they come up for auction.

I received my #99 business card in the mail today. It looks superb. Thank you for another wonderful job. You are really filling a niche.

To say the least this is a HUGE development for N-scale and I, along with a number of others, are indebted to you for making these cars possible. Thanks so very much!!!

I received my observation/business car today and – like all of my other cars from you – I love it!

I got my new Santa Fe business cars, they are superb and worth the wait ten times over.

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.

J. Echlin

Many thanks for your superb offerings and beautiful work!

I really am enjoying what you are producing, Lowell! Thanks for doing it. Jerry
