US Mint- America the Beautiful-2019 issue

Description

This Micro-Trains flat car has a custom cradle and is carrying a US Mint “Proof” quarter of the new “America the Beautiful” coin series.

Each car’s number is for the year of issue and the coin is one of the five America the Beautiful quarters issued that same year.

The first car in what became a series, is a typical custom hand made Concept Car issued at the convention. Micro-Trains was commissioned to produce the rest of this series. One per year for the past ten years, as the US MINT released the coins.

The final car in this series will issue in 2020. This series has been only available to those that got on board way back in 2010. Now for the first time, some of the single cars are available here on the website. This car being for 2019. (pretty cool to have my name on a quarter!)

You will also see that a few complete sets of ten cars are listed and available, while they last.
