Description
This car is exactly the same version as the 1st release of December 2022. Only noted ‘2’ as to easily distinguish between this and any prior order.
Please see the original release text copy below. All is the same. There will be a very limited number of these cars in this overrun production which is planned to ship summer 0f 2024.
Product Description: For the first time, a Concept Car was produced for an event, other than the National N Scale Convention. This time for the huge event who’s name must go unmentioned so the Mouse Police are not bothered.
As our other Concept Cars, this Edition size is very limited.
This car like all our Concept Cars, are completely produced by hand, and hence its limited quantity. Our own very special railing with ‘hidden Mickey’s’ helps make this a real beauty!
This model represents the classic car Lilly Belle as it is at present day Disneyland. It was originally the observation car of the passenger train known as RETLAW 1 the day Disneyland opened, July 1955. Reintroduced in 1976 and named for Walt Disney’s wife Lillian, the Lilly Belle is a car classified as a ‘Presidential Car’ that is reserved for special riders.
Special Production Note: This car does not come with a coupler, thus not a completed ready-to-run car. This done to satisfy TWDC that this truly is a decorated proof of concept only, and not a completely operable model train. (So you would need to add your own coupler, or use as a load.) Personally, I think this car on a flatcar will create a spectacular load and conversation piece on any railroad!
