Silver Smith Tour 2013 recap

A trip of a lifetime is one way to describe our Silver Smith Tour of 2013. Our private rail cars traveled on the California Zephyr, The Empire Builder, and The Coast Starlight circling our wonderful country through the Rockies, the plains, the Cascades and back home. The Silver Lariat (The Silver Smith) dome car, The Palm Leaf, and the Silver Rapids made seeing the USA a spectacular adventure, since trains can go where cars cannot.

Chartering these particular rail cars added a touch of comfort that was reminiscent of wonderful days gone by.  All that was on the agenda was enjoying the view from the dome, chatting with our friends, and being pampered by our own chef and crew, who served food beyond compare and served us in whatever ways they could.

We are planning our next trip!  Watch for more information here.  – Barb

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.
