Description

Two Coaches – 1947 North Coast Limited

Coaches #503 & 505 – Streamliner (Pine Tree) Scheme

Built in 1947 by Pullman-Standard, these cars were part of an eighteen car order, and the first cars for the streamlined North Coast Limited.

When delivered, they were painted in what the NP called the ‘Streamliner’ scheme. More recently modelers and rail fans have called it the ‘Pine Tree’ scheme. They were also delivered with skirts, which our models accurately have.

Many of these coaches saw service on trains like the Mainstreeter, the Alaskan and the Portland to Seattle ‘Pool Trains’.

This is a Prototype car and to the era of this paint scheme, has skirts.

There are two road numbers being produced at this time.

This offer is for the North Coast Limited Coach Pair,  with special pricing for both coaches.

Did you miss the limited run F units for this train?  Not to worry, as we are planning another run of F units for this train. So it is not too late to get on board this 1947 NCL.  Now is the time to reserve your F units. F-7’s coming in 2023!

Since these sold out, we are planning two more road numbers in the not-to-distant-future!
