Train Shows & Swap Meets!

With the new year comes a whole new batch of train shows.  We are excited to add a few more to the line-up this year.
Two weeks ago was the Portland SP&S Swap Meet.  I talked about my family as much as I did the trains I had on my table!  Friends wanted to know the ‘latest’ with my kids and grand baby.  That points to the reality that even though it is the love of trains that brings us together, the love goes deeper than that when you have been part of someone’s life for many years.  Barb and I are hoping to see you at one of this year’s great train shows, and the start meet is next weekend in Monroe, WA at the fair grounds.  This is probably the best model train show for families in the Northwest!  It’s a well done and it is BIG.  Next, the Portland Meet N March is on March 28th and is only N scale.  (That is really small) 😉
We are also planning to be in Livingston, MT April 25th, and Helena, Mt, April 26th. Then on to the National N Scale Show in Sacramento the end of June, the D23 Disney convention in August in Anaheim, The National Model Railroad Train Show which will be in Portland in August, and if all goes well, we’ll be at Trainfest this November in Milwaukee, WI.  Please come see us ‘for the love of trains’!

I just received my Carolwood Pacific cars yesterday. They are exquisite! Every attention to detail was paid here, and I can’t thank you enough for putting this into production.  They are going to look amazing, circling my main Street miniatures display.

You are in my book one of the very best.

Just wanted to thank you again for the opportunity to be with you and the many other happy folks who experienced the Feather River Canyon trip.  I know you put a lot of work into making this special trip a reality and it all came together extremely well!

Aside from the quality, creativity and originality, you are to be commended for your ongoing commitment to this (GAC) series, and all of your series of trains over a period of so many years.  There is always something to look forward to. Keep up the great work!’ D. K.

My kids absolutely love the Christmas cars! The C.K. Holiday, along with the Carolwood and Disney cars makes a wonderful Christmas train. It made many a loop under our tree this year.

Blunt End Observation is a GRAND SLAM! I’ve wanted this car for ages but never figured out a good way to kitbash it.

And as for your goal of 5 releases a year, I admire your ambition, but I won’t hold it against you if you fall short on that accomplishment.  I’m just thrilled you’re doing such an AWESOME job of releasing this amazing train, and hope you don’t stop until it’s all done!

Wow… You made my dream come true with the CK Holiday! I am a great admirer of your work.
