Texas Special – E7 A #101

Broadway Limited Imports has been commissioned to produce the power for our production of the beautiful Texas Special.

This is a newly tooled E7 and comes with the distinctive fluting below the windows, produced especially for us and our E-7’s.

The M-K-T had two E-7 A units for this train, Rd#101 & Rd#101-A. Three train sets were used to hold the schedule of the Texas Special. Each was pulled by E-7 A-A for power. You will need two E-7’s to pull your train and both are being produced at this time. You will need to order them separately, so please see the other E-7 road  #101-A.

The other sets of E7 A-A are all owned by the FRISCO. We are quite sure that demand for these all will be high and we try to anticipate the need.  It will be smart for you to reserve early.

We are taking deposits only right now, with ‘Final Payment’ link to be added very close to delivery next year. The total cost is expected to be $174. These are more than a regular release as the cost of the added special and unique fluting detail. A must for this model of the Texas Special.

 

Both DC (Stealth) and DCC (Paragon4) are being offered. You will need to choose.

Broadway Limited’s ‘Stealth‘ version comes with a DC board that can be removed and a DCC  board (with sound if you desire) such as ESU Next18. But whatever you choose, be sure to follow that manufacturers suggested ‘drop in’ for this application.

This selection, is a deposit for the Stealth DC engine road number 101.     

About six weeks before delivery we will create a web page for E-7 ‘FINAL PAYMENT’. Please watch for that then.
