Description

SP&S Coach #301

This car was one of five coaches built to this plan by Pullman-Standard in 1950 for the SP&S. Two of the five were delivered in this ‘Empire Builder’ scheme, and used on the Portland connection of the Empire Builder.

This car as it is modeled and decorated here, is prototype for the years 1952 to 1964. In 1964 these cars were painted in the SP&S green and yellow ‘Broad-stripe’ scheme.

This is one of three GN cars in this scheduled release.

This car is an important part of the SP&S Streamliner 1954-64 train we are building. Check out the new consist chart just posted.

Aside from the quality, creativity and originality, you are to be commended for your ongoing commitment to this (GAC) series, and all of your series of trains over a period of so many years.  There is always something to look forward to. Keep up the great work!’ D. K.

I got my new Santa Fe business cars, they are superb and worth the wait ten times over.

Just wanted to thank you again for the opportunity to be with you and the many other happy folks who experienced the Feather River Canyon trip.  I know you put a lot of work into making this special trip a reality and it all came together extremely well!

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.

Thanks for all the great trains – it’s nice to have such wonderful rolling stock on the layout.

I received my observation/business car today and – like all of my other cars from you – I love it!
