Description

Sleepers for ‘The Eagle‘!

The Pennsylvania Railroad contributed eleven 10/6 sleepers coaches for MP trains. The cars all carried the prefix ‘Eagle’, with the car ownership shown in the corners of the upper lettering board. Both of these showing ‘PRR’.

These smooth sided sleepers were built by American Car & Foundry, ours is by Pullman. Of special interest to those rivet counters out there, our sleepers will come with the three inch skirts as shown in this prototype photo here!  This is our first use of this body style.

This item order is for both cars being offered: Eagle Chief and Eagle Oak.

Our coaches for the Eagle are in stock and have been very well received by all Missouri Pacific fans. We got the colors right, and will do it again!  Be sure to watch for E units coming down the track for this great train.

These are a classic version of the sleepers.

What a trip! We had a great time- exceeded our expectations by a mile. The Silver Lariat was simply stunning. A gem on the rails. The scenery and weather were perfect. The delays were not an issue for us at all. All just a good days work on the railroad! Thank you for all the…

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.
