Description

The Illinois Central was another railroad that had many different style baggage cars.

Baggage 1802 was built by Illinois Central in 1948. Cars 1802 & 1803 were the only 2 cars in this series.

The cars were 76 feet long (ours is 72 feet) making our model a ‘Classic’ version. And while the I.C. certainly had more heavyweight head end cars then lightweight streamline style, cars like our 1802 will play an important role for any Illinois Central modeler.

And as for your goal of 5 releases a year, I admire your ambition, but I won’t hold it against you if you fall short on that accomplishment.  I’m just thrilled you’re doing such an AWESOME job of releasing this amazing train, and hope you don’t stop until it’s all done!
