Description

Announcing an extremely limited run of custom decorated SP&S F-7 #803

Broadway Limited has been commissioned to decorate their new and amazing F unit for the SP&S Railway. This is the first time that the 802 is offered in any scheme. An interesting story about the 802, is that technically it is a late model F-3. Notice that the intake grills are the F-7 style.

Offered in the hour glass scheme which it wore in one form or another from its delivery in 1948 until the Broad Stripe paint was applied in 1968.  We offer this F unit at the same time as the GP-9 passenger units as it was not uncommon for them to be seen together in a consist. Also of note, a typical SP&S passenger train on the water-level route along the Columbia River, would only need two units to pull that train of about 9 to 13 cars.

These new Broadway Limited F units come with  Dual Mode sound. These engines run on DC or DCC. To operate the horn or bell with DC, Broadway has a add-on control called DC Master that sells for about $40. If you need one please let us know.

Production on this release is limited to just one road number this time. This selection is for a deposit only for SP&S 803. You will receive a final billing when delivery is close. This deposit will be applied to the total cost, which we anticipate to be close to $269.

Expect the SP&S 802 & 803 in early 2023.

Please reserve now to assure you get this special engine!

Just a quick note to acknowledge receipt of my AFT Tool Car. Thanks so much for another Outstanding Piece of Craftsmanship! The AFT is my most prized “N” Scale collection. I had perceived that there were delays in getting this last car into our hands, but thought it was a problem with China. Your letter…

I have never been treated as graciously and in a manner more suited to a VIP in my life, as I was on our train trip.  It’s obvious how you’ve made your life a success story.  Looking around the train and seeing your friends I’m pretty sure they  were all made to feel very special by you, and your…

What a trip! We had a great time- exceeded our expectations by a mile. The Silver Lariat was simply stunning. A gem on the rails. The scenery and weather were perfect. The delays were not an issue for us at all. All just a good days work on the railroad! Thank you for all the…
