N SCALE! \u00a0GN’s Empire Builder Diner Lake Union<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n This dining car was one of six built by American Car & Foundry in 1951 for service on the new ‘Mid-Century Empire Builder’. Like the Pullman-Standard diners, all of these cars are named for lakes along the Great Northern’s route.<\/p>\n The lettering board showed ‘Empire Builder’.
