Description

This car has been produced by Micro-Trains on their business car body. Decorated in Union Pacific’s classic Armor Yellow and Harbor Mist Gray, this car was made as a memento of the great private car trips we had, and for those on those trips. There are very few remaining cars now made available to the open market.

William D Hall was a server/steward on every one of these trips and brought the real class of railroad service to our trips.

You read my blog about UP’s Pony Cars‘, well this is William’s very own “Pony Car’!

Note to Silver Smith riders:

As a traveler on one of our Silver Smith trips, you have come to know William and have experienced his smile and love. His dinner call, with his classic dinner bell chimes, are not to be forgotten. It is for this reason, and appreciation, that this car was produced. Production was limited to 50 cars, and only those that went on our trips are eligible to purchase this very special run.

These cars are ready to ship.

As a retiree of the Walt Disney Company I look forward to upcoming releases of the Disney Family Museum and Disneyland series.  Keep up the excellent work!

And as for your goal of 5 releases a year, I admire your ambition, but I won’t hold it against you if you fall short on that accomplishment.  I’m just thrilled you’re doing such an AWESOME job of releasing this amazing train, and hope you don’t stop until it’s all done!

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.

That car is about the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in N scale!  Excellent work!

I want to be like you when I grow up!
