Description

Walt Disney loved trains, and especially steam trains!

Walt was able to get corporate sponsorship from many companies and then used that leverage to help fund the building of his park in Anaheim. The Santa Fe Railroad was one of those sponsors. We all know what Walt did with that, building his own amazing railroad that runs around the perimeter of Disneyland. Naming it with authorization, the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad.

Our SF&D engine is what it might have looked like had the Santa Fe reciprocated the marketing promotion. Yes a fantasy scheme but why not!

Broadway Limited Imports has been commissioned to produce this big Santa Fe 4-8-4 steam engine.

This selection is for the DCC version that comes with sound and smoke, and is a deposit only. The total price is expected to be $449 and final payment will be due prior to shipping.

There is also a version that is regular DC if that is what you prefer.

The road number is appropriate as it was the year that Disneyland opened and the beginning of the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad!

We all need a place to escape, reflect, and play.  Walt set a wonderful example!
