Description

Coach #303 – Spokane Portland & Seattle

Built in 1950 by Pullman-Standard, this car number 303 was one of five coaches in this order for the SP&S.

When this car was delivered it was painted in the SP&S Pullman Green with four Dulux yellow stripes. It was also delivered with skirts which were later removed. In 1964 this scheme, commonly called ‘broad stripe’, was applied to all five of these coaches.

This is a Prototype car and to the era of this paint scheme, has no skirts.

There are two road numbers being produced at this time. See car #304.
