VERY Few Remain!

Description

Southern Pacific Sleeper 9031.

This 10-6 sleeper was built by Pullman in 1950 for service on Southern Pacific’s ‘Cascade’ between Oakland and Seattle. Originally delivered in Two-Tone Gray (RailSmith future releases), this car and other ESPEE 10-6 Sleepers were later painted in this silver and red ‘General Service’ scheme and would see service on many other Southern Pacific trains such as the ‘City of San Francisco’, or the ‘Overland’. Southern Pacific had twenty-three of these sleepers.

What you see different from the Walthers release are: Road number, window trim & ESPEE lettering is now corrected to ESPEE Lettering Gray (versus silver that Walthers used).

This is a Prototype car.

I just received my Carolwood Pacific cars yesterday. They are exquisite! Every attention to detail was paid here, and I can’t thank you enough for putting this into production.  They are going to look amazing, circling my main Street miniatures display.

Just wanted to thank you again for the opportunity to be with you and the many other happy folks who experienced the Feather River Canyon trip.  I know you put a lot of work into making this special trip a reality and it all came together extremely well!

Ferdinand Magellan is great! This really fits your mission of offering significant cars that otherwise wouldn’t be produced.
