Description

Presenting another coach and sleeper for the Southern Railway.   Coach ‘SWEETWATER’ and sleeper POTOMAC RIVER.

SOUTHERN ordered fifteen coaches from Pullman-Standard built in Lot 6646 and delivered in 1941.

The Southern had coaches from both Budd as well as Pullman-Standard.  There is one road name in this run, SWEETWATER.   This is a classic car for the Southern.

The POTOMAC RIVER is one of many 10/6 sleepers built by Pullman-Standard for the Southern Railway.
