Description

Pennsylvania Railroad Sleeper 'Tippecanoe Rapids'.

Delivered by Pullman in 1948, this sleeper was one of 18 ten-six sleepers owned by the Pennsy.  According to the 'Pennsylvania Painting and Lettering Guide', it was decorated in UP's yellow and gray in 1955 and returned to PRR Tuscan in 1958. This car was one of the four Pullman plan 4140's that was assigned to transcontinental service.

The color of Lettering on this Tuscan car will match the MTL and Kato cars.  (Unless my Pennsy friends say that is incorrect.)
