Description
Duplex Sleeper MINNESOTA RIVER
Two of the last cars built for The Milwaukee Road were this duplex sleeper floor plan 4192. With only two cars in this class, they were built by Pullman-Standard for general service in 1955. Â Â The yellow and gray (UP) scheme was used starting in 1955 when CMStP&P took over the Overland route from the C&NW. Then after, Milwaukee Road cars were found on the Overland ‘City’ trains.
Plan 4192 is the same plan as the 4119 with the exception of one room being a ‘compartment’ versus a ‘Bedroom’, and the location of the annex bathroom. So by definition we think this is still a ‘prototype’ car, windows being the same.
We are excited to produce these Zumbro River & Minnesota River in the awesome yellow & gray so you have more options on your (mostly) Union Pacific ‘City’ trains!
This selection is for the single car –Minnesota River, which is also part of the ‘pair’. The Zumbro River car is only available in the pair selection.
This is a prototype car.

My kids absolutely love the Christmas cars! The C.K. Holiday, along with the Carolwood and Disney cars makes a wonderful Christmas train. It made many a loop under our tree this year.

Thank you for all that you do for the N Scale community. Your products by far, in my opinion, are the top of the line when it comes to N Scale Trains and I am always on the lookout for them when they come up for auction.

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.
