KCS Sleepers  Arthur Stillwell & Job Edison

In 1948, the KCS and its subsidiary Louisiana & Arkansas received an order of eight sleepers from Pullman -Standard. All served until the late sixties with two going on to Amtrak service.

Kansas City Southern took pride in their passenger service and continually looked for ways to improve. Noted that as late as 1965 they purchased ten coaches from Pullman-Standard. Proof that in a time when other lines were shutting down passenger service, the Kansas City Southern was still improving theirs.

These are classic sleepers for the Southern Belle, and can also be used on a business train ‘special’ of more recent times.

Thank you for all that you do for the N Scale community. Your products by far, in my opinion, are the top of the line when it comes to N Scale Trains and I am always on the lookout for them when they come up for auction.

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.

That car is about the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in N scale!  Excellent work!
