Description

Illinois Central – Diner 4100

The I.C. had many diners. The #4100 was assigned to the City of Miami and was built by Pullman-Standard.

When we release more IC coaches with IC in the lettering board, (and you know the difference), we will not stop you from running this diner on your City of New Orleans!

Era specific, this release will NOT have skirts.

What is next for the IC you ask? How about: Dormitory, Domes, more sleepers, and oh ya, those iconic IC coaches that we just happen to have! (and just maybe, a observation car) Then we will need some power!

This is a Classic version of this car.

I look forward to continuing to buy trains from my favorite special run train maker. That’s how I think of you now, “The Train Maker”.  And speaking of cool trains, I just received a box loaded with great looking Texas Special cars. Thanks.  I certainly look forward to all the new releases you are planning.

Nothing better than receiving that white box from Lowell Smith.

Ferdinand Magellan is great! This really fits your mission of offering significant cars that otherwise wouldn’t be produced.

Aside from the quality, creativity and originality, you are to be commended for your ongoing commitment to this (GAC) series, and all of your series of trains over a period of so many years.  There is always something to look forward to. Keep up the great work!’ D. K.

Just a quick note to acknowledge receipt of my AFT Tool Car. Thanks so much for another Outstanding Piece of Craftsmanship! The AFT is my most prized “N” Scale collection. I had perceived that there were delays in getting this last car into our hands, but thought it was a problem with China. Your letter…
