Description
Sleeper SPOKANE RIVER
Sixteen cars in this class were built by Pullman-Standard for Empire Builder service in 1951. These cars will not have skirts.
The Great Northern typically ran five sleepers on the Empire Builder in this era. Three of these ‘River’ series sleepers and two (or three) of the ‘Pass’ series sleepers. All depending on the seasonal need.
This selection ‘GN’s Empire Builder  SPOKANE RIVER Duplex Sleeper’. This car is also one of the ‘Fleet’, but offered as single should for some strange reason you would not want all three of these new beauties.

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.

Thank you for all that you do for the N Scale community. Your products by far, in my opinion, are the top of the line when it comes to N Scale Trains and I am always on the lookout for them when they come up for auction.

And as for your goal of 5 releases a year, I admire your ambition, but I won’t hold it against you if you fall short on that accomplishment. I’m just thrilled you’re doing such an AWESOME job of releasing this amazing train, and hope you don’t stop until it’s all done!

Lowell, I just want you to know – you make this hobby fun!

I look forward to continuing to buy trains from my favorite special run train maker. That’s how I think of you now, “The Train Maker”. And speaking of cool trains, I just received a box loaded with great looking Texas Special cars. Thanks. I certainly look forward to all the new releases you are planning.
