Description

Burlington Northern Dome Coach #555

BN was formed in March 1970 with the joining of Jim Hills railroads. the CB&Q, GN, NP and the SP&S. The BN’s passenger service was short lived as Amtrak took over operations in April 1971.  Once that happened, the BN kept some cars for use in their business train and special movements. This Budd Dome Coach was prior Northern Pacific Rd#555 and ran o the North Coast Limited.

This is a PROTOTYPE version of this Dome Coach.
