Description

Beginning in 1956 the Santa Fe had body shells deliver from Pullman Standard to their shops in Topeka where they were finished out. Baggage 3847 was one of the 240 cars in this series they called ‘Semi-Lightweight Baggage & Express’.

Sometimes assigned to the secondary trains, these cars were put into service wherever needed.

This car is ‘imitation stainless steel’ with same roof, silver trucks and under frame.

SFR&HS has provided the information.

This is a classic version of this car.

Thanks.  I certainly look forward to all the new releases you are planning.
