Description

Produced by Micro-Trains, this heavyweight sleeper is decorated in the  Shadowline  paint scheme that was applied to older cars allowing them to blend into a streamline passenger consist. There are two road names available. (See also the ‘Independence’ Pennsy car.)

This “Shadowlining” when used on smooth sided cars,  created the illusion of fluting. These cars were thus painted in the spring of 1953 to match the Budd cars of ‘The Congressional’ and ‘The Senator’ passenger trains, and used as traffic surges dictated.

Aside from the quality, creativity and originality, you are to be commended for your ongoing commitment to this (GAC) series, and all of your series of trains over a period of so many years.  There is always something to look forward to. Keep up the great work!’ D. K.

Every aspect of the trip was professionally done.  You and Barbara were on top of every change and your matter-of-fact assurances speak highly of your professionalism.  Jo Ann is a retired chef  and we know what good food is, and the meals provided on the CZ trip were stellar! BRAVO to you and Barbara for…

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.
