NP’s ‘Mainstreeter’ Observation

It is expected now in 2024. Stay tuned here for updates!

Description

Produced by Micro-Trains, this heavyweight car is decorated in Northern Pacifics’  ‘Pine Tree’ paint scheme.

NP cars in this paint scheme lasted past the 1952  transition to the Loewy Two-Tone Green scheme. While many were painted into the new scheme, other Pine Tree cars were shifted to retirement and used in excursion service.

We have added this car to the North Coast Limited 1947 line, as it would both be prototypical (as it could have been run on that train) as well as a faster solution to an ‘observation’ for this train. The ’rounded end’  1947 NCL Observation is just farther down the track.

Aside from the quality, creativity and originality, you are to be commended for your ongoing commitment to this (GAC) series, and all of your series of trains over a period of so many years.  There is always something to look forward to. Keep up the great work!’ D. K.

Just wanted to thank you again for the opportunity to be with you and the many other happy folks who experienced the Feather River Canyon trip.  I know you put a lot of work into making this special trip a reality and it all came together extremely well!

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.

I just received the “The Great Locomotive Chase” set from the Walt Disney Family Museum. Very nicely done!
