What are you doing for Fathers Day?

Welcome to the new year! 2015 is shaping up to be another great year with lots of exciting new announcements, special run,s and private rail tours! I’m excited to have you all be a part of it. Coming up this June, Barb and I will be hosting a day-trip through the Feather River Canyon in original California Zephyr cars! This is a great opportunity for you to step-back-in-time to enjoy the luxury of how rail travel was during that golden age. The train will depart from Sacramento, CA at 6 a.m. on June the 21st, and is scheduled to return at 8 p.m. that evening. We are planning on having coach, dome, and even private sleeper rooms available for you to choose from. While the cost of this one-day trip may seem high, it is currently less expensive than other charters running in the Feather River.

We have had a very high level of interest in this trip and it is now ‘filled up’ fast with only limited seats remaining available. A waiting list will be started for those who miss out on a ‘confirmed’ reservation and are hoping for a cancellation. If you are interested, please check our page for the trip, which has details and a place for you to sign-up for updates as they become available.

Quote from last trip: “Thank you for a wonderful train trip across the Rockies! We were able to experience the nostalgia of years-gone-by in grand style by traveling the California Zephyr cars.” Don’t get left on the station platform!

And as for your goal of 5 releases a year, I admire your ambition, but I won’t hold it against you if you fall short on that accomplishment.  I’m just thrilled you’re doing such an AWESOME job of releasing this amazing train, and hope you don’t stop until it’s all done!
