A Time To Build

“For everything there is a season… A time to tear down and a time to build up.”  Ecclesiastes 3:3 (NLT).  ‘A Time To Build’…. This recent title on the issue of Cowcatcher magazine really caught me.  If we take just that part of the scripture, it sure rings true right now.  It really is a ’time to…

The Texas Special roll out has gone very well.  By the end of this year, 2020, we project that all of the cars will be available or close to shipping, with the exception of the Buffet Lounge and the E-7 power.  The power should be announced about 12 months from now. The speed of this…

Our Trip to Promontory for the 150th Anniversary of the Golden Spike

My wife Barb and I planned a year in advance to be in Utah for the 150th anniversary of the Gold Spike. It was every bit as big a deal as we thought it would be, and we are so glad we were there! We took two days to drive from our central Oregon home…

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.
