Arrivals Update: December 2018

RailSmith

It is very exciting to know that the first RailSmith shipment is ‘on the water’ as they say. I am delighted that the factory had the first run completed ‘on time’ in early November. The fact that it took me much longer than planned, or understood, to set up the paperwork to become an importer was a fact I did not consider. So, it’s my fault that the first batch will be here in January and not December. And, this is expected to delay the second shipment one month as well, but as always, I will keep you up-to-date on progress.

MicroTrains

  • While USA production should not be a challenge, quite simply it has been. But! The Great American Circus, American Fruit Packers and National Park Series are all shipping now. With these, I am always so excited to announce what is next in the series, so be sure to check them out!
  • It really is kind of ‘like Christmas’ with everything coming all at once! Pay careful attention to the Great American Circus #32 and get your orders in NOW because it will be shipping on time in April.

Hold on, because it just keeps getting better!

The thing I love about all the things you do is the fact that everything is so well thought out, so beautiful and so unique.

I just received the “The Great Locomotive Chase” set from the Walt Disney Family Museum. Very nicely done!

I am looking forward to many more releases in the new year. I stayed up really late on Christmas to talk to Santa when he came by our house. I asked him for an n-scale SP&S 700, and he said that was out of his league and I’d better call you.

Aside from the quality, creativity and originality, you are to be commended for your ongoing commitment to this (GAC) series, and all of your series of trains over a period of so many years.  There is always something to look forward to. Keep up the great work!’ D. K.

And as for your goal of 5 releases a year, I admire your ambition, but I won’t hold it against you if you fall short on that accomplishment.  I’m just thrilled you’re doing such an AWESOME job of releasing this amazing train, and hope you don’t stop until it’s all done!

I received my observation/business car today and – like all of my other cars from you – I love it!

My kids absolutely love the Christmas cars! The C.K. Holiday, along with the Carolwood and Disney cars makes a wonderful Christmas train. It made many a loop under our tree this year.
