Noah Elias and Lowell Smith Team Up to Bring TRAINS to The Kid In Me

tkim-3

I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with some incredibly talented individuals over the years. Recently, a good friend of mine, Noah Elias, approached me with an idea I have been so excited about. This partnership and project has already been a highlight, and I’m thrilled to finally get to share it with you.

noah-elias-in-actionBefore I dive in and tell you more about our collaboration, I want to tell you more about Noah. This story actually began a few years ago when Barb and I met Noah at a Disney event. He is an amazing artist whose influence reaches into many arenas. He has worked with many major companies producing art for their brand, including Toyota, Levi Strauss, and ESPN. noah-universityIn addition to his art, Noah is also an author, the founder of an online mentorship program for artists, the co-creator of a conference for entrepreneurs, owner of a digital branding agency, and founder of a platform designed to equip and empower Christian leaders. Our connection, as I mentioned, began through his work with Disney as a licensed artist.

the-kid-in-me-characterOne of Noah’s collections is called The Kid In Me™, which tells the adventures, homes, and fears of the child within each one of us. Recently Noah approached me with an idea: what if he and I were to collaborate on a Railway that would feature art for The Kid In Me™ Collection? I loved the idea, and we got to work. Noah created a unique work of art which will be featured on the first boxcar we release in this series. But there’s more to it than just a boxcar.

The title of the artwork is “Delivering Hope to Every Destination,” and it represents the bigger purpose behind this Railway. One of my favorite things about The Kid In Me™ is that inspiration for the collection came partly through Noah’s connection with Acres of Love, an organization in South Africa impacting over 200 orphaned and special needs children. Noah and his wife, Chantel, decided to begin an initiative to build another home for Acres of Love called Ingane Forever Family Home. Through this home, 8 aids orphans and a special needs child will continue receiving everything a family provides: love, medical care, education, and dignity.

ingane-forever-family-homeAs soon as I heard about this initiative, I suggested we use our collaboration as a way to continue funding this home. We decided to donate profits of this series to the Ingane Forever Family Home. This means that by adding The Kid In Me™ Railway to your collection, you not only get a beautiful collector’s item, but you will be directly impacting and changing the course of the lives of impoverished children.

tkim_boxcar_square-600x600The boxcar itself is part of a working model train that will ultimately include a Locomotive and Caboose in addition to this first boxcar. Releases will be every Christmas and Father’s Day, and we are proud that everything about it is made in the USA. The train comes in a collector’s box edition, which includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a print of Noah’s painting.
